Dunnottar Moonrise by FlippinPhil Dunnottar Moonrise by FlippinPhil
As the sunset, the soft blues of twilight remained in the sky as the bright glowing moon rose above the surrounding cliffs at Old Hall Bay, next to Dunnottar Castle on the east coast of Scotland.

I've been waiting to witness and capture these conditions at a location like this for a long time. When they arrived, they definitely didn't disappoint, the atmosphere and noise of the tide going back out over this amazing pebble beach was incredible.

I haven't done anything with it, it's behind me in this shot ;)

I know, but it's unusual to see a good photo of Dunnotter without the castle

Ha it's an amazing location with so much to shoot than just the castle. People just need to stop looking at the obvious and think outside the box :D Thanks again man.
