Hey everyone, been unbelievably busy lately with so much that I haven't had any time to visit and upload my work here on dA as well as everywhere else. I can now officially call myself a 'professional photographer' as I've been offered, and have of course accepted a full-time photography position with one of Scotland's largest and fastest growing solicitors and estate agencies. I can't begin to express how happy I am about all this, and I can't wait to start the new job in a couple of weeks time!

As well as this, I had my very first wedding shoot which was a great success, the wedding was for friends and I was a guest as well as the photographer, which meant it was brilliant for my first attempt. I'm currently still in the middle of processing, and editing all of the images from the day, but I will probably try and share a few of my favorites on here for you all to have a look at.

And in other news, I made the shortlist for the 'Scottish Nature Photography Awards' for 2011 in the landscape category. There were over 2000 entries, and I managed to make the shortlist which consisted of 27 with my image 'To the North' which can be found here on dA at the following link - [link]

I have to write a short bio and send it to the competition as I am going to be published in the yearbook, so far 2012 is going extremely well, and I hope it continues with all the hard work I'm putting into my passion for photography.
