My name is Philip (but you may call me Phil or Flip), I am 20 years of age, and I am from Bonnie Scotland in the UK.

I own a Canon EOS 450D with the EF-S 18-55mm IS kit lens, and the Sigma 70-300mm APO Macro Super DG lens. I also use Photoshop CS4 Extended, Photomatix Pro 3, and Digital Photo Professional for all my post processing, and editing.

I aspire to capture the true beauty in our small planet, Earth, and share with the rest of the world what strikes me in the moment. Ever since I was a small child, I was lucky enough to be taken on some fantastic holidays, and trips around my home country. Over the years, I have become to appreciate mother nature, and the finer things in life that most may not even think about. I look at everything through a creative, and unique way, and always try to capture everything in a different way, allowing the mind to wonder shall we say.
I mainly enjoy landscapes, and nature, but I do like to experiment, and dabble in different types of photography, why limit myself?
I wouldn't call it as much of a 'spare time hobby' anymore, but a passion, and a possible career path in the future.
